[Link] | Hum de hum. Life continues apace, whilst I sit in the metaphorical cafe taking the piss out of its clothes and drinking wine. I've been really good recently; done lots of work, drunk very little, drawn things. Note to self - when painting glass, handle with care. I thought I'd got red paint all over my hands until I realised I was painting with purple and had just gashed open my finger. I'm on the ball. Hmm.
I was a little concerned about Dr Who last night. Far too much silly emotional music and silly emotional stuff. And the bat things just looked silly. Grr. K9 was okay though, glad they didn't vamp him up. It's a shame because the concept of what happens to the ex-assistants is a good one; it was just done really clumsily. Bah.

Fashion Show Disaster
I have just recieved a letter from the Churches Conservation Trust about the Gothic Fashion Show. Despite having outlined my suggestions to their local representative and having them accepted, they have responded to the official form in a really, well, arsey way. We are allowed to offer, included as part of the ticket price, TWO alcoholic drinks. My gut reaction is that very few people will come if that is the state of affairs and we will have to find another venue. I'm at the end of my tether, I'm fed up with being messed about, I'm very very tired and half tempted to just give up. Any thoughts?

My ankles are still painful, I have a swollen toe for no clear reason, and the bit below my left ear (which I think is a gland) is also swollen and hurts like buggery. I want to go to bed and sleep and groan softly. Of course, what I have to do is finish this essay so please tell me why it is so hard and is refusing to get any longer? (yes, I just realised how that sounds, but hey, we all need simple childish amusment in our lives...) I only need a few hundred words.
I know, I'll paste my last few hundred lj entries into it and hope she thinks its some new avant-garde style of criticism.
